The deadline for nominations was Tuesday 5th October 2010

Nominations were made for the following categories:

• Partnerships in safety   
  Recognising safety achievements of companies working in partnership
• Safety product   
  Recognising the potentially most effective gas safety related product either for public or industry use
• Safety training/skills initiative   
  Recognising a company’s innovation in internal or external training that leads to a demonstrable improvement in competence
• Public safety initiative/campaign   
  Recognising successful campaigns and initiatives that increase public awareness of gas safety issues
• Individual contribution to safety   
  Recognising individual contribution to company or public safety
• Process safety improvement  
  Recognising a significant contribution to improving process safety
  
• Safety-related research   
  Recognising safety-related research leading to improvements in gas safety practises and performance
• Overall safety achievement  
  Recognising the company with the greatest over-all safety achievement over the last ten years
